A private yacht charter in Cancun means the whole boat is yours for the hours you book, with the captain and crew included. Our fleet carries 6 to 30 guests, and a four-hour charter starts at $600 USD for the boat, not per person. We operate our own boats, so you are booking with the people who run the charter.

Two-hour charters start at $300 USD and six-hour charters at $1,100 USD. Prices are for the whole boat. A dock fee of $14 USD per person is paid separately at the marina and is not collected by us. Crew gratuity is not included; 10 to 15% is customary.

Where a Cancun charter goes
The standard run is north to Isla Mujeres: about 40 minutes across the channel, anchoring off Playa Norte for swimming, with a stop at the reef for snorkelling. Four hours covers the crossing, a long anchor stop and the return. Six and eight hours add a second stop, a longer stay at the island, or a sunset return. Your captain sets the route on the day around the weather and what your group wants.
What is included and what is not
Every charter includes the boat to yourselves, the captain and crew, bottled water and ice. Food, alcohol and soft drinks are not included as standard.
We sell those separately and arrange them ourselves: catering and food on board, drinks and bar service, photography, jet ski rental and ground transport. Choosing the boat for your group
Capacity is the first filter: the number on each boat page is the maximum the vessel is licensed to carry, and children count as guests. Groups of six to fifteen usually take a Sea Ray 46 or 50; sixteen to twenty a Sea Ray 60, Sunseeker 60 or Hatteras 60; larger groups and mega yachts are quoted individually. Where charters depart from
There is no single departure marina: it depends on the boat, because size and draft decide where a vessel is berthed. Most of our fleet leaves from Marina Sunset Lagoon or Marina Puesta del Sol in the Cancun Hotel Zone. Other boats leave from Puerto Cancun, Marina Aquatours, Marina Margarita, Marina Nautilus, Playa Las Perlas, Hacienda del Mar, Marina Fish Fritanga, V&V Marina, Marina Flamingos in Puerto Juarez, or Costa Mujeres. Your confirmation states the exact marina, its address and your boarding time. Check in 30 minutes before departure.
Booking, deposits and cancellation
Most of our boats need no deposit: you pay on the day of departure, in cash or by card. Some boats need a deposit or a confirmation of attendance to hold the date, and the boat page says which applies before you book. You can cancel at no cost up to 24 hours before departure. If the captain or the port authority decides it is not safe to sail, your charter is rescheduled, so you do not absorb the weather. Full booking conditions.

Is the price per person or for the whole boat?

Do we need to pay a deposit?
Not on most of our boats: you pay on the day of departure. Some boats require a deposit or a confirmation of attendance, and the boat page tells you before you book.
Can we bring children?
Yes. Families are welcome on every boat and children count toward the guest number. Tell us the ages when you book and we have life jackets in children sizes on board.
Is food and drink included?
Bottled water and ice are included on every charter. Food, alcohol and soft drinks are not; we sell catering and bar service as an extra, quoted with the charter.
