How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Cancun?
A four-hour private yacht charter in Cancun costs from $600 USD for the whole boat, captain and crew included, and up to $3,600 USD for the largest boats with a published rate. Two hours starts at $300 USD and six hours at $1,100 USD. On top of the charter you pay a dock fee of $14 USD per person at the marina. Those are our real numbers, not a starting-from figure for a boat nobody books.

Every price above is for the whole boat for four hours. The boat you pick inside a band changes the number: a Sea Ray 46 and a Fairline 70 both carry fifteen people and are not the same charter.
What is not in that price
- Dock fee, $14 USD per person. Paid at the marina on the day. It is a port charge, not ours, and we do not collect it.
- Crew gratuity. Not included. 10 to 15% is customary and goes directly to the captain and crew.
- Food, alcohol and soft drinks. Not included as standard. Bottled water and ice are.
What costs extra, and why we sell it ourselves
We arrange catering and food on board, drinks and bar service, photography, jet ski rental and ground transport. They are booked in advance and quoted with the charter, so you deal with one team and one price instead of coordinating a caterer and a photographer yourself on the morning of your trip.
Why 22 of our boats say call for pricing
29 of our 51 boats carry a published price on their page. The remaining 22 are quoted when you ask. That is not a sales tactic: those are larger vessels and mega yachts whose cost moves with the season and with what is actually available on your date. Publishing a fixed number for them would mean quoting a price we would have to change. Ask for a date and you get the real figure the same day.

What moves the price
Four things, in order: the boat, the number of hours, the date, and how far ahead you book. Christmas, New Year, spring break and Easter run higher across every operator in Cancun. Weekends are busier than weekdays. Group size only changes the price by pushing you into a bigger boat, because we do not charge per head.

Is there a cheaper option than a private yacht?
The smallest boat in our fleet is the lowest private price we have. Below that you are looking at a shared catamaran tour rather than a private charter; those are run by our sister company, Cancun Sail.
Do I pay in pesos or dollars?
Prices are quoted in US dollars. You pay on the day of departure, in cash or by card, on the boats that need no deposit.
Why do some boats not show a price?
Because their cost changes with the season and availability, and a fixed published number would be wrong more often than right. Ask for your date and we quote it.
Is the dock fee really separate?
Yes. $14 USD per person, paid at the marina. It is a port charge that we neither set nor collect.
